What are starchy carbs?
In this video, when I referred to starchy carbs I was talking about things like white rice, white potatoes, pasta – anything like that. Any type of processed carbohydrate.
Things like yams and sweet potatoes technically also qualify as starchy carbs but those aren’t nearly as bad for you as the kind of stuff I mentioned above. Still, if you’re looking to lose the maximum amount of fat, you should cut them out or limit them to after workouts only.

The answer is that all of these things are life habits that you should do forever!
The whole idea with using principles like this instead of strict dieting rules is that you can easily make them into a lifestyle instead of a temporary diet, which will lead to long lasting results.
As for the type of exercise you should do – any type of high intensity resistance interval training will do the job. If you want some ideas check out all my micro workout videos.

To answer your question, YES it is absolutely ok that you have a few cheat meals each week. Not only will they stop your metabolism from falling into a constant low state, they will also mentally allow you to stick to your plan because you know that you can still eat those things on occasion and they’re not banned for life.
Just eat in moderation (have a couple slices, not a whole pizza!) and you’re fine.
Aim for around 30 mins of activity a day of exercise.

what about dairy?can we have dairy?i’m drinking fat-free milk but the sugar rating is quite a view.12 grams of sugar per serving.How can get rid of those sugars?Can I put 1/3 of a glass of milk and the rest,water and mix it up?
It depends – is there a particular reason you’re drinking milk? Do you want it for the taste or for the nutritional content?
If it’s for the taste and you love cow’s milk then sure you can mix it with water if you want.
If you’re drinking it for protein and nutritional content then you can always experiment with hemp milk which has a ton of protein or other natural milks.
Dairy is not terrible but it’s not fantastic either. Water and green tea are best when it comes to liquids.

I was just watching your videos, wow they seem very helpful to many people.
Last year I lost a lot of weight by just not eating at all and it made me thinner, but my tummy wasn’t really flat at the end, coz i wasn’t exercising at all!
now i wanna try it the healthy way:
why do you want us to eat proteins?
coz whenever i diet i just eat salads and vegetables and stuff like that, now i am confused.. dont they get stored as fat?

Protein creates muscle, working out without protein won’t even do anything, you can’t gain muscle without protein/
